Back to the grind...

"You may not see it now," said the Princess of Pure Reason, looking knowingly at Milo's puzzled face, "but whatever we learn has a purpose and whatever we do affects everything and everyone else, if even in the tiniest way. Why, when a housefly flaps his wings, a breeze goes around the world; when a speck of dust falls to the ground, the entire planet weighs a little more; and when you stamp your foot, the earth moves slightly off its course. When you laugh, gladness spreads like the ripples in a pond."
- Norton Juster, "The Phantom Tollbooth"

So reading week is officially over, back to the books I don't understand, the wind, slush, rain, snow, hail, sleet and ice of Kingston, back to the distinct smell of the Gap, back to the late nights of procrastination...
Short but great week overall...Inside was nice to see the entire asian community of Toronto that either: had the hookups to get in, waited outside for 4 hours, or lined up at 9pm. System was shady as usual yet quite an odd looking crowd filled with the normal hardcores but with nerdy fobs with funny hair dispersed throughout. Shopping was another success and I am content, however, my wallet ain't as happy. Saw family, ate sushi, saw old friends (happy belated birthday, Vicky!), saw new friends, shopped some more, and drank in moderation. Saw Garden State with Stella and Scarlett, ate some really good ice cream, played poker and lost my money in 5 minutes...but most importantly I did not read on my "reading week"! I attempted to...I went down to St. Mike's College at UofT but that library must be the most boring library in the universe...and believe you me, I've been to enough libraries in my lifetime to make that statement with authority. You wouldn't understand until you've been there. Back in K-town as of Friday and went to Kid Koala which was amazing! I'm in love with the DJ there on Fridays as well now.
1:20pm Monday afternoon, time to start studying for that 100% exam tomorrow morning...
Ahhh...life is good...:)

PostScript: I like how to decide to update this during my "crunch time".
