So much!

So many funny/random things happened this weekend...I'll have to write a good update after hell week numero deux.

- Old Navy
- Subway
- Present blitz
- JGW's quote of the century:

"under the facebook 'help' section
i was looking at 'Other Questions'.. and there was one that says "what kind of graph theory algorithms are you using to process connections?". I actually clicked on it. I was curious.
but then the answer is "If you're interested, we're hiring."
hahahaha
they didn't even give me an answer
kinda disappointed"

Weekend

Weekend started with Lindsay's broken foot and figuring out how to play our card game called b!tch again...we played up to 15000 or so points when we were 14 and 15 years old. For those of you unfamiliar with the game, that's approximately...500 hours of playing? HAhahaa...we were sad teenagers. No boozing or partying for us...we were intensive card game players. We took a break to leave the house (since Lin is housebound due to broken ankle/foot etc.) to go eat at North, his Persian restaurant which is SO SCRUMPTIOUS if you haven't been there. We went with Brandon and his gf Christine (Jinae). YAY. Afterwards we got bbt! YUM! So after that we resumed card playing and Lifehouse and Everclear listening just like the old days. Such a fun night. Then I stayed up till 5am and woke up at 7am to drive mom and pops to the airport so they could go on their week long CRUISE to the DR or Caribbean (I forgot...all they left me with was a pick up time at the airport). Then I came home and slept from 8am-3pm. Then I woke up and had dinner with Eunice + fam at this yummy sushi place at East Beaver Creek and met up with the girls for some dessert @ Marlowe. Good night. Then I slept at 6am because I had messed up my sleeping from the night before. Sad eh. I made myself wake up today at 1pm or else I might be screwed for Monday. Went to Andrea (little cousin's) to play Cadoo (the little kid version of Cranium). SO FUN and hilarious. She was definitely better than I was. I had to act out a vampire and she acted out bumper cars. You have to find stuff around the house in this version (e.g. find something that starts with an S, roll something across the floor only with your nose, etc.). Anyway, it was a laughfest. Then I went to Eunice's to bake cookies. THEY WERE SO YUMMY I think I went into a sugar coma. Watched Extreme Home Makeover 2 hour special. It was awesome. No qualms about this weekend. Had a great one. VC reunion on Friday. I want to see him light it up. I really want to see a dunk on Bosh. Sorry Raps. I want to see a good game so hopefully it won't be like 121-73.

An update on my fantasy teams and basketball job hunt

Over my 3 teams, I have Josh Smith, Ben Wallace, Jameer Nelson, Boris Diaw, Delonte West, Sebastian Telfair and a whole bunch of other crappy people.

Thus, 2 things:

1. I am almost at the bottom (8/15, 6/13, 11/14), however,
2. The people I have bets with are at the actual bottom. Mwhaha...I am winning 2 out of my 3 bets and my 3rd bet is in close range I think.

Knock, knock on wood.

Thanks but no thanks to the person who offered me Ridnour and Bogut for Wade and Dampier...my teams might be tanking but I'm not an idiot.

In other news: they showed the Raptors "shooting consultant" on TV the other day. SHOOTING CONSULTANT? How do you GET that job? Watch a lot of bball and calculate some angles using a protractor on the TV? Biomechanics...I took that...visual perception and figure-ground...I assess that currently...I'm gonna google shooting consultant and see how I get those jobs. How come when I was in elementary school for our career fairs we only saw doctors, lawyers, secretaries, bankers, and firefighters?? WHERE WERE THE FRIGGIN' SHOOTING CONSULTANTS!!!

Or as in a previous post that I'm too lazy to dig up...GOLF BALL TESTER FOR NIKE. I dunno how you get that kinda job either but they said you needed previous job experience in golf balls or something. I dunno.

I am sure that it's all a conspiracy. All of it. How the heck do you become the next David Stern? Do you have to wait until he dies or is there a time limit on Commissionerness. Anyway, even though ESPN rejected me, the dream is not dead. I'm gonna find that shooting consultant and get back to you guys.

Thanks for reading...and yes...I'm pretty sure I'm crazy. Haa...wish my teams good luck anyway. Even if I'm not a golf ball tester at least I may revel in my victory over red wine and free dinner :)
